The View Between My Fingers, 40″ x 30″, 2019. Private Collection.

I am an artist living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, creating expressive oil paintings inspired by prairie skies.

I was trained first as a printmaker in Edmonton, then in classical techniques in Sydney, Australia. This has influenced the way that I think about image-making as I now pursue expressive painting.

I work in oil paint in a style best described as expressive realism. My work is inspired by the beauty and metaphor of ever-changing prairie skies.

While travelling, I like to paint watercolour landscapes en plein air. Photo by Carl Conradi.
