Expressive paintings grounded in metaphor.
I paint skies and light to explore memory and experience: skies are both a constant fixture in our lives, yet are never the same twice. I am inspired by seasonal changes in light, and I layer colours and shapes to reflect light’s transitory nature. The paintings explore what we know and what we can never know about our own and others’ experience.
